  • How we Serve
    How we Serve
  • Ministering to the Poor

    • "The gospel ideal of poverty led Francis to humility of heart, to radical dispossession of self, to compassion for the poor and the weak, and to sharing their life. (Capuchin Constitutions, Ch 4, art 1, 60)

"Commitment to the gospel ideal of poverty calls us to be available in love and to conform ourselves to Christ poor and crucified Who came into the world to serve." (Capuchin Constitutions, Ch 4. Art. 1. 61)

  • Parish Ministries

    • "After the example of St. Francis who was a Catholic and totally apostolic man, we offer faithful obedicence to the Spirit  of Christ living and working in the Church." (Capuchin Constitutions, Chapter 1, art. 2.11)

    • "Wherever we may be, we contribute to the good of the particular church through our fraternal and prophetic presence, working together for its growth and progress in accordance with our charism and under the guidance of the diocesan bishop, offering our apostolic service to the People of God and to the entire human community."
      (Capuchin Constitutions, ch. 1, art. 2. 11)

  • Retreats/Preaching Ministry

    • "Let us do all we can to imprint on our hearts the Word of God, who is Christ, and give ourselves totally to Him, so that He may move us to speak out of abundaance of love. In this way we will preach Christ Himself by our life, our actions, and our speach."  (Capuchin Constitutions. Ch 9, 150)
  • Vocation Ministry

    • St. Francis said, “The Lord gave me brothers.” Discerning a Capuchin Franciscan vocation begins with prayer and personal reflection. The vocation director and the vocation team seek to help others discern their vocation, and to see if they may have a calling to follow Jesus as a Capuchin Franciscan.

The Capuchin Franciscans follow St. Francis of Assisi, living the Gospel in prayer, fraternity and ministry. If you’re contemplating a vocation, we’d like to invite you to learn what it really means to be a Capuchin.

  • Ministry To Migrants

    • "When taking on new forms of the apostolate we should show special concern for the people who are far from the faith and from religious practice, and for those who are deprived of ordinary pastoral care because of the conditions of their life:..migrants, unskilled workers, those burdened with financial pressures, or those who suffer discrimination and persecution for any reason." (Capuchin Constitutions Ch. 9, art 149. 141)

  • Spiritual Assistance to the Secular Franciscans

    • The Secular Franciscans are the third branch of the Franciscan Family formed by Catholic men and women who seek to observe the Gospel of Jesus by following the example of St. Francis of Assisi.
"All the brothers shall take to heart the need to show a true brotherly attitude toward the members of the Secular Order. By their own example let them nourish fidelity to the gospel life and effectively promote the Order...The brothers shall willingly provide spiritual assistance to this Order. (Capuchin Constitutions, Ch. 6, art.1. 102)

joyfully observe a life of simplicity, guided by contemplative prayer and brotherhood,
that we may better embrace the Gospel and minister to others, preferentially to the poor and marginalized.
